On June 4, 2016 in Przemysl in the Catholic House "Roma" took place Regional Convention of Law and Justice District No. 22 Krosno - Przemysl.
The session was opened by the Chairman of the Regional Council of the PiS in Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Regional Plenipotentiary No. 22 of the PiS - Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński.
The session began with the singing of the National Anthem and a moment of silence for the recently deceased members of the Law and Justice party. Those gathered unanimously elected Andrzej Matusiewicz as the Chairman of the Meeting.
After taking the chair of the Meeting, the Chairman of the Meeting proposed the adoption of the agenda of the District Meeting:
Marek Kuchciński discussed the current political and social situation in the country, presented the implementation of the Law and Justice Party's election program by the government of Prime Minister Beata Szydło. He reminded that for six months the Sejm passed approx. He recalled that in six months the Sejm adopted about 100 laws, including the Act on state aid in raising children (the 500 plus program), amended the Education System Act (six-year-olds), amended the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance, adopted a new law on the Public Prosecutor's Office, combining the functions of the Prosecutor General and Minister of Justice, The Family and Guardianship Code was amended with respect to the deprivation of parental authority over children for economic reasons, a major reform of criminal procedure was carried out, the Hunting Law was amended, the Law on the Protection of Polish Land and the Law on the Principles of Direct Sales in Agriculture were amended. A bank tax law was also passed.
The following bills from the Law and Justice election program are being processed in the Sejm:
- Presidential bill to lower the retirement age;
- large entity tax bill;
- A bill for a tax-free amount of 8,000, 00 zł per year;
- A bill for a minimum wage of $12 per hour;
- another bill on the Constitutional Court;
- ffan loan bill;
Work is also underway to put in order the affairs of the special services, the uniformed services, to merge the customs administration with the penal and fiscal administration, to strengthen the powers of the voivode, and to prepare a major educational reform - the problem of closing gymnasiums.
Marshal Marek Kuchcinski discussed the results of local elections in 2014, presidential and parliamentary elections in 2015 based on a multimedia presentation prepared earlier and made a detailed analysis of these results by district. He also presented the electoral history of Law and Justice in 2001-2015 with support in Podkarpackie.
The District Attorney also presented the assumptions of the government's Housing Plus program.
Tadeusz Chrzan, plenipotentiary of the Law and Justice party of Jaroslawiec District, Starost of Jaroslaw, and Witold Lechowski, plenipotentiary of the Law and Justice party of Jasielsk District, Deputy Governor of Podkarpackie were unanimously elected as Vice-Chairmen of the Regional Convention: Tadeusz Chrzan, Plenipotentiary of PiS of Jaroslaw District, Starost of Jaroslaw District and Witold Lechowski Plenipotentiary, PiS of Jasiel District, Deputy Governor of Podkarpacki District.
