According to a CBOS survey, 57% of Poles favorably evaluate the activity of the Roman Catholic Church (3 p.p. more than last year), while 32% are of the opposite opinion.

According to research by the Central Statistical Office, the largest number of believers live in Podkarpacie. In 2018, about 94 percent of Polish residents aged 16 and older identified themselves with religious institutions. The most numerous collective is made up of Roman Catholic Church believers (91.9 percent).
