On January 19, for the twelfth time, a Christmas wafer meeting was held for independence activists from all over Podkarpacie: members and supporters of Law and Justice, NSZZ Solidarność, Solidarność RI, Social Movement named after President Lech Kaczyński, and Gazeta Polska Clubs.

It began with the Holy Mass in the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the meeting itself took place in the refectory of the Jesuit College. It was devoted to the memory of the late Archbishop Ignacy Tokarczuk and celebrating the 150th anniversary of the January Uprising.

The guest speaker was Deputy Speaker of the Polish Parliament Marek Kuchcinski.
