The Report of the Group of Experts on the Problems of the Constitutional Tribunal refers in a very important way to the existing political and legal crisis around the Constitutional Tribunal, and in particular contains a critical analysis of the Opinion of the Venice Commission issued in March this year, as well as a very detailed list of events illustrating the background, genesis and course of the crisis around the Constitutional Tribunal, including also facts that were omitted in the Opinion of the Venice Commission. The report also refers to the problem of constitutional judiciary itself and contains the proposals of the Venice Commission. de lege ferenda on the functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal in Poland.

The Speaker of the Sejm would like to encourage all institutions and public authorities in Poland, which within the framework of their functioning have contact with foreign entities dealing with the issues of the Polish Constitutional Tribunal, to take interest in the results of the work of the Team of Experts appointed by the Speaker of the Sejm, which should make it easier for these entities to form an objective opinion on this matter.
