Marek Kuchciński was born on 9. augusta 1955 in the city of Przemyśl. Zmaturoval na 1. všeobecnom gymnáziu J. Słowackého v Przemyśl. V rokoch 1974 - 1978 študoval dejiny umenia na Lubelskej katolíckej univerzite. V rok 1978 ukončil pomaturitné štúdium v odbore záhradníctvo. V 80. rokoch v meste Przemyśl organizoval nezávislé kultúrne prostredie, samizdatovo vydával a redigoval štvrťročník "Strych Kulturalny" (slov. Kultúrna povala). Pôsobil v nezávislom hnutí roľníkov - okrem iného ako člen Celopoľského výboru roľníckej opozície, ako autor článkov samizdatového časopisu OKOR "Solidarita roľníkov". Od roku 1982 sa angažoval v roľníckom pastoračnom centre v mestečku Krasiczyn (prvé v celom Poľsku), organizoval (spolu s kňazom Stanislawom Bartmińským) potravinovú pomoc pre sliezskych robotníkov. V rokoch 1983 - 1989, tiež ilegálne, spoluorganizoval Dni kresťanskej kultúry v Przemyśl a medzinárodné umelecké výstavy "Človek - Boh - Svet". V roku 1985 uväznený za opozičnú činnosť. Vo vyšetrovacej väzbe v meste Jarosław a vo väzení v meste Przemyśl.

V roku 1989 spoločne zakladal a stalem sa tlačovým hovorcom občianskeho výboru "Solidarita" v przemyskom vojvodstve. V rokoch 1990 - 1992 člen celoštátneho občianskeho výboru "Solidarita" v okruhu Lecha Wałęsu. Founder and President of the "Porozumienie Centrum" Association (1990 - 1999) v przemyskom vojvodstve. V rokoch 1990 - 2000 plnil funkciu predsedu Przemyského kultúrneho združenia, ktoré okrem iného vydávalo štvrťročník "Spojrzenia Przemyskie" (slov. Przemyské pohľady). Podpredseda rzeszowskej pobočky Združenia poľských novinárov. Predseda programovej rady Poľského rozhlasu Rzeszów a korešpondent Poľského rozhlasu Ľvov. V rokoch 1994 - 1999 deplanec mesta Przemyśl.

V rokoch 1999 - 2001 Podkarpatský vicevojvoda. Nepretržite od 2001 poslanec Poľského sejmu za stranu Právo a spravodlivosť. Dňa 4. augusta 2010 sa stal stalemaršálkom Poľského sejmu 6. volebného obdobia, and 8. novembra 2011 zvolený na vicemaršálka Poľského sejmu 7. volebného obdobia. Predseda parlamentnychch komisií: štátnej správy a vnútra, a także ochrany životného prostredia, prírodných zdrojov a lesníctva. Subcommittees of the Parliamentary delegation to parlamentného zhromaždenia Poľska a Ukrajiny, a jak a člen poľsko-majarskej parlamentnej skupiny.

Since 2010 iniciátor of a cycle of stretnutí - konferencií karpatských krajín pod názvom "Európa Karpát", which aim is, inter alia, to strengthen mutual cooperation at all levels of public activity and to create a medzinárodnej siete MPs, who are engaged in the ongoing development of the Carpathian region. Od 12. novembra 2015 do 9. augusta 2019 maršálek Poľského sejmu 8. volebného obdobia.

Zvolený za poslanca Poľského sejmu 9. volebného obdobia. V súčasnosti podpredseda komisjiie súdržnosti so zahraničnými Poliakmi a člen komisjiie ochrany životného prostredia, predseda parlamentárneho Karpatského výboru a výboru pre Horskú záchrannú službu. Predstaviteľ delegácie Poľského sejmu a senátu do parlamentného výboru Stredoeurópskej iniciatívy. From 12. februára 2020 predseda poľsko-majarskej parlamentnej skupiny, účastník skupín: poľsko-slovenskej, poľsko-rumunskej a poľsko-českej.

Okrem toho: Vyznamenaný ocenením Poľského rozhlasu a televízie v Rzeszowe, Získal za činnosť v oblasti kultúry. Získal cenu "Nowin" v kategórii Politik roka 2003. Je ženatý, má tri deti.

NAJDÔLEŽITEJŠIE VYZNAMENANIA

• Rad za zásluhy Ukrajiny (2010) - za významné osobné angažovovanie sa v rozvoji poľsko-ukrajinských vzťahov v prospech posilnenia autority Ukrayiny vo svete.
• Kríž Slobody a solidarity (2016) - za aktívne angažovanie sa v opozícii proti komunistickej diktatúre v Poľskej ľudovej republike.
• Veľký kríž maďarského rádu (2018) - za uznanie výnimočných zásluh a angažovania sa vo vytváraní politických a spoločenských maďarsko-poľských kontaktov.
• Rád za zásluhy Litvy (2019) - for contributing to and engaging in the development of contacts between Lithuania and Poland, improving political, cultural, economic and social cooperation between the two countries.
