On September 19, at the invitation of Senator Izabela Kloc, the Rybnik, Mikołow and Jastrzębska Regions were visited by Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchcinski.  

The first place of his visit was Mikołów, where he met with local government officials, Chairman of the Mikołów District Council Adam Lewandowski and Vice-Mayor Marek Szafraniec. The conversation focused on the development of education, the vision of pedagogical supervision and the disturbing actions of the Polish Post related to the liquidation of outlets, including those in Mikołów. He then placed flowers at the plaque at the St. Joseph the Spouse Church in Czerwionka, which commemorates the Poles murdered in Katyn in 1940 and the victims of the Smolensk crash.  

The Deputy Speaker of the Sejm spoke with residents of Rybnik district about the problem of mining and the Dębieńsko coking plant. The central moment of Marshal Kuchcinski's visit was a programmatic meeting dedicated to the upcoming elections, with members and supporters of Law and Justice. The meeting was an opportunity to present in detail the draft laws presented by Law and Justice Vice President Beata Szydło - candidate for Prime Minister of the Polish government during the Law and Justice Electoral Convention held on September 12, 2015.  

In his speech, Marshal Kuchciński also referred to the May presidential election, in which President Andrzej Duda defeated the PO candidate in our constituency. The meeting was summed up with a joint photo of the candidates for the Sejm and the Senate and the volunteers with a strong message “We can do it, we will win!”. 

The final point of the visit was the 5th Jastrzębska Bieg Uliczny, the so-called Jastrzębska Dziesiątka. Marshal Marek Kuchciński cheered on Norbert Małolepsz, Vice-Chairman of the Jastrzębie-Zdrój City Council - PiS candidate for the Polish Sejm from Jastrzębie-Zdrój, who personally took part in the run. In between meetings, the Marshal had the opportunity to admire the beautiful Rybnik Market Square and drink good coffee at the Spa House in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. There was no shortage of conversations with the residents of Jastrzębie met in the Spa Park.
