Poland through the eyes of the world's media

- Poland is one of the greatest nations in the world. The myth of Polish "xenophobia" is a fiction propagated by embittered EU bureaucrats who hate Poland's conservative government and constantly try to undermine it in the European Union, British foreign policy analyst Nile Gardiner writes on social media and cites today's Times article. The author of the text is impressed by the commitment to help the city of Przemyśl - "finds a proud nation defying lazy stereotypes in refugee camps on the border."

This is not the first text from a leading Western newspaper acknowledging Poland's role in helping Ukraine. Not only has the world re-evaluated its thinking about Russia, but it is slowly digging itself out of the rubble of propaganda spewed for years by those for whom a strong Poland would be a tragic defeat.

- Russia's war against Ukraine may be a good opportunity to stop the currently fashionable campaign against Poland, writes the German "Die Welt". The publicist draws attention to the huge effort that Poles are bearing due to the massive influx of refugees from Ukraine. - This comes at a time when Berlin's administration, border police and disaster services have collapsed under the weight of tens of thousands of migrants, the daily writes. Flattering texts about Poland have also been written by The Sunday Times, Wall Street Journal and Bild, which already in November last year thanked Poland for its stance against Kremlin-inspired actions on the Polish-Belarusian border.

The symbolism and positive dimension of the visit by the prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia were highlighted by the Washington Post, among others: The dramatic visit by top officials from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia to a city that was rocked Tuesday morning by more explosions came amid a growing humanitarian crisis and pressure to isolate Russian President Vladimir Putin, BBC: Ukraine appreciated courage of three European leaders, Al Jazeera: The visit was above all a highly visible public demonstration of high-level support for the Ukrainian people and leadership," RAI reported" The proposal for NATO forces is particularly significant, "El Pais": A political gesture of support, "El Mundo: A trip worthy of praise", "Le Figaro": A visit symbolic and concrete", "La Repubblica: The trip proves that Europe, too, can strike a strong blow against whoever stands up to it.

May the world's awakening not be too short-lived
