Podkarpackie Law and Justice structures in Stara Wieś celebrated election success

03A meeting of members and supporters of Law and Justice from the Podkarpackie region organized by the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Marek Kuchcinski, ended in Stara Wieś on Saturday, December 5 at around 2 pm.

The solemn meeting summarizing the two victorious election campaigns (presidential and parliamentary elections) began with Mass celebrated at the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stara Wieś. The Eucharist, celebrated for the intention of the Fatherland, was presided over by the host of the place, Rector-Priest Father Jan Gruszka, while the homily was delivered by Father Dr. Waldemar Janiga. The Mass was followed by a concert of patriotic songs performed by the "SOUL" Girls' Choir from Sanok under the direction of Monika Brewczak. The ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Polish Sejm Marek Kuchcinski, deputies and senators, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship Wladyslaw Ortyl, and local councilors headed by Chairman Jerzy Borcz.

The second part of the ceremony took place in the Old Town refectory of the Jesuit Fathers. There, the Speaker Marek Kuchcinski spoke, noting the need for changes in many areas of the Polish state. He stressed that without putting in order at least the issues related to the Constitutional Tribunal, the implementation of the Law and Justice election program will not be possible. The speech, which was received with a storm of applause, was followed by a ceremony of presenting gifts prepared by the Speaker's Office to candidates for the Sejm who did not win a seat. Afterwards, those involved in the Election Protection Corps and the district and municipal attorneys of the Law and Justice Party were honored.

The Speaker of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship was then asked to speak, congratulating the Speaker of the Sejm on assuming such an important position. He talked about development plans concerning the province and invited to the unveiling ceremony of the monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Tragedy in front of the Marshal's Office in Rzeszow (December 13 this year). He also expressed satisfaction with the change in central authority, hoping for greater efficiency in matters important to southeastern Poland.

Sejm Speaker Marek Kuchcinski asked MP Andrzej Matusiewicz to explain to the assembled what has been happening recently around the Constitutional Court. After this speech, everyone was invited to refreshments. Everyone also received commemorative gadgets with the Law and Justice logo.
