New fire trucks and investments for Lesko and Olszanica

Let the numbers prove the importance of the Fire Brigade for us: Today, modern vehicles for the Sanok region, which received over PLN 5.7 million for volunteer fire brigades in 2016-2022. The entire Podkarpacie region received 300 new fire engines at that time, and in 2023 it will receive over 50 – said Minister Marek Kuchciński during the handover of modern fire trucks in Sanok and Lesko.

Over 8,200 firefighters in Podkarpacie receive a rescue benefit, for which we allocate a total of PLN 20 million annually.

The head of the prime minister's office also recalled the investments made by PiS in the Sanok region. Since 2014, she has received over social policy and investments from the PiS government PLN 1.5 billion.

Apart from large cities, there is not a single local government in Poland that would receive greater support for development policy – emphasized the minister. Marek Kuchciński also argued that such good cooperation between the government and local government translates into development, innovation, jobs and ecology, including clean water and the production of green hydrogen. Considering that the Sanok region partly belongs to the Bieszczady Mountains, this is an extremely important task.

These include funds for support for families, computers for students, kindergartens, nurseries, roads, bridges, railways, sewage systems, removal of the effects of natural disasters, cars for the Voluntary Fire Service, culture, sport, bicycle paths, renewable energy sources, water treatment, new jobs or the army.

On Saturday, the Bieszczady Rescue Service in Sanok signed a contract with the Lviv Regional Center for Medical Rescue and Disaster Medicine regarding the transfer of an ambulance, power generators and medical equipment.
