As many as 70% of respondents predict Andrzej Duda's victory

In the opinion of Poles, the frontrunner in the May presidential election is the candidate running for re-election Andrzej Duda. As many as 70% respondents are convinced that he will win the upcoming election.

Every eleventh respondent (9%) predicts victory for Andrzej Duda's main rival, the candidate of the Civic Coalition Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. In February, the remaining candidates are not given much of a chance by those surveyed. One in 100 respondents assume that the upcoming election will be won by Szymon Holownia (1%). For other candidates, these percentages are even lower: Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz i Robert Biedroń They achieved 0.3% indications each, Krzysztof Bosak - 0.2%. Almost one in five respondents do not undertake to predict the outcome of this year's presidential election (19%).

The CBOS survey "Current issues and events" (357) was conducted using the face-to-face computer-assisted interviewing method (CAPI) between 6-16 February 2020 on a representative random sample of 958 adults in Poland.
