Przemyśl, July 31, 2016.

The PIS Intervention and Advice Bureau in Przemyśl at the Parliamentary Office of Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchcinski in Przemyśl from 01.07.2016 - 31.07.2016 provided legal advice on matters related to the following topics:

1. criminal and misdemeanor law;
2. general scope of civil law;
3. family law;
4. administrative law;
5. labor and social security law.

The Office was visited mostly by people from the city of Przemysl and Przemysl County, however, there were also people who needed help from other counties of Subcarpathian Province.
With the above points in mind, the advice was:

Re 1. Of criminal and misdemeanor law:

• Finality of criminal judgments, resumption of criminal proceedings;
• early conditional release;
• The issue of summons versus notice for a criminal trial;
• The elements of the criminal act of abuse;
• Preparing a line of defense in the prosecution's case for the crime of violation of bodily integrity and insult;
• The issue of victim representation in criminal proceedings.

Re 2. Of general civil law:

• contracts with mobile operators, the grounds for withdrawal from such contracts and the issue of contractual penalties;
• consumer bankruptcy;
• divorces, including the consequences with the dissolution of the marriage due to the sole fault of one of the parties, the drafting of a parenting plan;
• exemption from court costs and the right to an attorney ex officio;
• Inheritance law, and in particular declarations of acceptance or rejection of the inheritance;
• The right to retain;
• The admissibility of filing a cassation complaint;
• necessary road;
• Enforcement of claims against the debtor's successors;
• avenues of redress, i.e., the difference between a settlement notice and a lawsuit;
• entry in the land records;
• claims for payment;
• The seizure of real estate;
• enforcement proceedings, including the discontinuance of enforcement by operation of law;
• denial of insurance payment;
• Warranty of the purchased item;
• revocation of the donation;
• cessation of immissions.

Re 3. From family law:

• Alimony ( the issue of abrogation of alimony obligation, reduction of alimony, alimony from the Alimony Fund);
• The division of the joint property of the spouses;

Re 4. From Administrative Law:

• discounts granted for housing buyouts;
• write-off of arrears in municipal waste management fees;

Re. 5 On labor and social security law:

• drafting objections to the expert opinion of the medical examiner in the pension proceedings;
• to rescind the legal effect of the statement of intent regarding the termination of the employment contract;
• pension applications;
• calculation of contributory and non-contributory periods for early retirement;
• pre-retirement benefit;

In addition, the month in question produced opinions:

• On intervention as to unequal treatment of workers;
• On the Local General Development Plan of the City of Przemyśl preventing the use of real estate according to the right of ownership;

Summary: The PIS Intervention and Counseling Office in Przemyśl, despite the vacation and vacation period, enjoys unflagging interest. During the period in question, 55 meetings were held with those seeking help. Given the variety of problems with which petitioners come forward, it should be recognized that free legal advice bureaus are a very significant and important form of support for citizens.
