Saturday's election for the chairman of the District No. 22 was again won by Marek Kuchcinski recommended by Jaroslaw Kaczynski. Candidacy of Speaker of the Sejm was supported by 359 delegates, 19 were against and 3 abstained from voting.

The Speaker outlined the tasks facing the Podkarpackie district. As the most important he mentioned the expansion of structures, organizing meetings in individual villages and preparing a program on sustainable development. According to Kuchciński, 2017 is the time to renegotiate agreements with the European Union on spending money in individual provinces.

Marek Kuchciński also emphasized the role that the young generation will play in the life of the country. - In two or three years we will have thousands of new eligible voters. Many of these people have a sense of patriotism, a sense of pride in being an over 1500 year old nation, they see the need to strengthen the importance of the state. Conclusions should be drawn from this and used also in international relations - he argued.

Marek Kuchciński also presented changes concerning the support for PiS and the party's achievements in the country, within the voivodship and in the District 22, including the 500+ programme, six-year-olds, medicines for seniors and lowering of the retirement age. He recalled the success in the elections to the European Parliament, local government, presidential and parliamentary. He also spoke about the need for changes in the organization of schools run by local governments, the curriculum, repairing higher education, increasing the country's security, not only at the border - especially Schengen - but also by using the interest of young people in serving in the military. He announced the presence of a Territorial Defense Brigade Battalion in every county in Poland. Marek Kuchciński also spoke about the importance of transport initiatives (not only Via Carpatia S19, A4, but also a number of local connections, renovation of communal and district roads). - These are challenges which we have to face - he said.
