Deputy Speaker of the Sejm. Marek Kuchcinski is the leader of the Law and Justice list in election district No. 22 in Krosno; the district includes the former Krosno and Przemysl provinces. From this part of Subcarpathia, PiS has also put forward two candidates for the Senate. "On Friday, at the Regional Election Commission in Krosno, we submitted the documents needed to register a list of PiS candidates for the elections to the Sejm in district No. 22 and our candidates for the Senate elections in districts No. 57 and 58. We collected 15,000 signatures under the lists for the Sejm, and five thousand signatures each for the Senate candidates," he said. - Krzysztof Sobolewski, secretary of the PiS district board, told PAP.
Kuchcinski, 60, has been an MP since 2001. Among other things, he was chairman of the Law and Justice parliamentary club; deputy speaker of the Sejm of the sixth and seventh terms. In the 1980s he was repressed for opposition activities. From 1990 to 1999 he was a member of the Porozumienie Centrum party; in 2001 he joined the Law and Justice party.
The second place on the list in the Krosno district is held by a councilwoman of the Podkarpackie voivodeship assembly, one of Kaczynski's so-called "angels." - Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz.
Vice mayor of Sanok starts from third position Piotr Uruski, who is the candidate of Solidarna Polska.
On the other hand, the representative of Jaroslaw Gowin's grouping - the Dorota Łukaszyk - He is running for 20th place on the list.
Current Law and Justice (PiS) deputies are also vying for parliamentary seats: Piotr Babinetz - From fourth place, Stanislaw Piotrowicz - of the seventh and Bogdan Rzonecka - of eight.

In the concluding term, District No. 58 in the Senate was represented by Andrzej Matusiewicz (Law and Justice), who ran for a parliamentary seat on the Law and Justice (PiS) lists in the current election from the sixth place.
