On the 13th of October this year the Vice-Marshal of the Polish Sejm Marek Kuchciński met with the inhabitants of Bircza and Reczpol. The meeting was attended by the senator Andrzej Matusiewicz and the councillors of the Sejmik of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship: Stanisław Bajda and Jarosław Brenkacz.
The meeting in Bircza was preceded by a Holy Mass, after which the Deputy Speaker laid flowers at the obelisk commemorating the late Maria and Lech Kaczyński.
At meetings with residents, the Deputy Speaker raised problems concerning: health care and education. He stressed that the funds allocated for health care should be increased, but in the state budget and not by increasing the amount of health care contributions. He also added that all state hospitals should be put into debt, otherwise their commercialization will be inevitable.
As far as education is concerned, he announced the liquidation of grammar schools and a return to a system of 8 grade elementary school and 4 grade secondary school. He stressed that only Law and Justice's independent government can improve the situation in the country, but it needs a parliamentary majority.
