Speaker Marek Kuchcinski met with the chairman of the Czech Foreign Affairs Committee, Karel Schwarzenberg. The talks were mainly devoted to strengthening Polish-Czech cooperation and reinforcing the importance of the Visegrad Group, as well as joint action for a Europe of solidarity but sovereign states, the principle of subsidiarity or clarifying the scope of competencies.

Also discussed was the creation of an assembly of V4 parliaments cooperating with the parliaments of Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, as well as support for the European choice of Ukraine as a guarantor of Polish security.
