The Sejm has passed a law on voluntary firefighters, under which firefighters of the Voluntary Fire Brigades, as well as GOPR and TOPR rescuers who have served at least 25 years will receive retirement allowances of 200 PLN (men) and 20 (women).
Next year, the Mountain Volunteer Rescue Service will celebrate its 70th anniversary. We wanted to be able to thank them in this way in the anniversary year, to appreciate their effort and commitment, so it was with great enthusiasm that we accepted today's vote in the Sejm - said after the vote GOPR chairman Paweł Konieczny.
