Law and Justice party (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość) has an ambitious election plan in Podkarpacie - it wants to get closer in October's parliamentary elections to the May result of President Andrzej Duda. A strong list of candidates and hard campaigning work in every corner of the region will help.
Subcarpathian structures of Law and Justice officially began their election campaign on Monday (September 14) with a presentation of candidates in Rzeszow. During a press conference the candidates who will run for parliamentary and senatorial seats in the October parliamentary elections in the Przemyśl-Krosno district, which also includes the Lubaczow district, were presented. Here, the leader of the list will be the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński from Przemyśl, and the second place on the list is occupied by a councillor of the Sejmik of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz from Jarosław. In the elections to the Senate in constituency number 58, which includes the district of Lubaczow, from the PiS list will fight Mieczyslaw Golba, a current member of Solidarna Polska.
Leaders of the Law and Justice party in Podkarpacie emphasized that on the lists there were people from different backgrounds, including a large number of young people just beginning their "adventure" with politics.
