Poland and the USA for peace

The head of the Prime Minister's Office, Marek Kuchciński, and the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Ryszard Terlecki, met with the US Ambassador to Poland, Marek Brzeziński.

The main topics of the talks were cooperation between Poland and the USA for peace and security in Europe and support for war migrants and the wounded from Ukraine. Ambassador Mark Brzeziński emphasized that his father, Zbigniew, an adviser to US presidents, was involved in philanthropic activities in Przemyśl and would like to refer to this during his planned visit to Podkarpacie in March.

The importance of President Joe Biden's second visit to Poland was also discussed: "His words about the closeness of our countries came straight from the heart," emphasized Brzeziński.

In the context of strengthening economic cooperation and security of the region, as well as military importance, the subject of the Via Carpatia road and the Europe of the Carpathians conference, which is a kind of foundation for the Three Seas Initiative, were also discussed.
