PiS won the elections to the European Parliament. In Podkarpacie with over 65% support

According to the official data from the National Electoral Commission, the Law and Justice party won the elections to the European Parliament. 45.38 percent of voters voted for Jaroslaw Kaczynski's party, 38.47 percent voted for the European Coalition and 6.6 percent voted for Wiosna. Law and Justice party won 27 seats, the European Coalition - 22 seats, Wiosna - 3 seats.

This year's elections, compared to previous ones, were distinguished by a very high turnout of 45.68%. The success has many fathers, and in this case also a mother, that is Kaczyński's so-called five, which consists of 500 zł for each child, thirteenth pension, lowering taxes and their absence for people under 26 years of age, restoring local connections. It seems that Poles appreciate the party's current programs and remember the earlier ones, such as the restoration of the previous retirement age, smaller Social Security and a layette for children going to school.

However, PiS is not resting on its laurels and promises to continue working hard to improve the lives of Poles. - Let us appreciate this day. Our MEPs have a huge task ahead of them. In autumn we must win once again. This is a huge challenge. We won, but let this make us work harder before the parliamentary elections - said president Jaroslaw Kaczynski during the election evening.

This time the Law and Justice Party (PiS) mainstay in Podkarpacie region did not disappoint. 65% of voters cast their votes for PiS. In Przemyśl, his home town, the Marshal of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński voted. He emphasized that the European Parliament and the European Union have a great influence on life in Poland. - A great number of issues that depend on the decisions made by the EP force us to elect MEPs as responsibly as possible and those who will look after the interests of Poland", noted Marek Kuchciński.
