On the Local Self-Government Day President Andrzej Duda awarded 37 persons of particular merit for their activity on behalf of the local community. The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński.
According to the official data from the National Electoral Commission, the Law and Justice party won the elections to the European Parliament. 45.38 percent of voters voted for Jaroslaw Kaczynski's party and 38.47 percent for the European Coalition.
