Speaker of the Diet: Today the Polish Postal Service presents a stamp with the image of the presidential couple Maria and Lech Kaczynski. They are already symbolic figures in Polish history, even though only 7 years have passed since their tragic death. Maria and Lech Kaczyński are in our collective thinking about the state; they are the contemporary personification of those values on which the Republic of Poland has been built and strengthened for centuries and in which our Polishness is expressed.

Speaker of the Diet: The image captured on the stamp is also a message to all of us about the importance of dignity, honor, sacrifice and truth in private and public life. I thank the Polish Post for carrying out this initiative, it is important for our historical memory.

KU125447 President Andrzej Duda: Seven years since that shocking, dramatic day, when in some sense, and sometimes a very deep sense - especially for you, your closest ones: wives, husbands, parents, children, grandchildren - the world collapsed. Because it suddenly turned out that this closest person, this beloved one, who after all was supposed to come back in a few hours, was supposed to perform a task which he had accepted in the spirit of responsibility, in the spirit of service to Poland.he's not coming back.
