A new perspective of the Bieszczady - we will see them from the cable car over Solina

Soon we will see the Podkarpacie region from a completely new perspective - the windows of the cable car over the Solina dam will show us the panorama of the Bieszczady mountains. And when we reach the Jawor Mountain, we will spend our time in the 3 km long theme park - among the phenomenal nature, local legends and other attractions - said Marek Kuchciński during the presentation of the construction of the gondola railroad and the viewing tower over the water dam in Solina.

Marek Kuchciński emphasized that the investment was successful thanks to ingenuity and cooperation of many environments, state, local government and business institutions - regardless of political differences. Bieszczady and Solina are a solid brand, unusual places, which despite the development of tourism, retain their mysteriousness and wildness, sometimes bringing back memories of childhood camps.

Solina is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Poland, and the cable car will probably be the first in the world to run along the dam. Every year Solina Lake is visited by approximately 1.5 million tourists. In order to unleash and fully expose the potential and values of the place, the idea of a pro-tourist investment appeared, one that would make the tourist offer of the whole Bieszczady region more attractive - the construction of a gondola railroad and a viewing tower over the dam in Solina.

The planned route of the scenic gondola railroad starts from the starting station Plasz, located above the boardwalk leading to the crown of the dam in Solina, and the final station and the 56 m high observation tower are to be located on the Jawor mountain. The length of the railroad route is 1.64 km. The highest support of the railroad is to be 99 m high. The railroad will be able to carry about 1200 passengers per hour.
