Lech Kaczynski built the future in the spirit of the values of great Polish patriots. Serving Poland was the content of his life. He fought for her independence since the 1970s," said Sejm Speaker Marek Kuchcinski during a ceremony to unveil a plaque dedicated to President Lech Kaczynski.
The Speaker stressed that Lech Kaczynski had a vision of a just and secure Poland, well governed and proud of its history and its status in the world. His mission interrupted tragically, changed the course of the history of our homeland. After 2010, the absence of our president became palpable. The awareness of the unfinished work remained among us. - We hope that the plaque being unveiled today will commemorate the figure of President Lech Kaczynski. It is very important that it is in the Sejm of the Republic that the memory of this outstanding Pole continues and helps us to realize his most beautiful ideas and continue his work in our parliamentary work," he concluded.
The ceremony at the Sejm was attended by President Andrzej Duda, Senate Speaker Stanisław Karczewski, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Law and Justice Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński.
