The present government of the Republic of Poland is preparing another liquidation of important institutions. This time the district courts in Przemyśl, Jarosław, Przeworsk and Lubaczów are under threat. Instead of them there will be local branches, but without departments of Land and Mortgage Registers (Lubaczow, Przeworsk, maybe Jaroslaw), which means a huge inconvenience for the citizens.
The abolition of district courts is said to be justified on the grounds of savings. However, it is more important that the Polish Government creates good general conditions for development. Displacement of further institutions from the Przemysl Land districts, resignation from building a network of national roads and highways, limiting funds for professional activation are the causes of rising unemployment, lower wages, reduced educational opportunities, closure or lack of new businesses, permanent emigration and aging of the population.
Therefore, Marek Kuchciński, member of the Polish Parliament, sent an interpellation to the Minister of Justice, in which he requests that district courts remain in the above-mentioned locations.
