- Strengthening Poland's security - thanks to the modernization of the army and strategic investments such as the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline, the digging of the Vistula Spit, the construction of a barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border of the European Union, the choice of technology for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland, or the program of modernization of uniformed services.
- Salary increase - in difficult times of crisis, a special role of the state is to care for the lowest earners, which is why in 2022 we decided to record a record increase in the minimum wage
next year - from January 1, 2023, it will be PLN 3,490 gross, and from July 1, 2023, PLN 3,600 gross. - Support for Polish families –continuation of programs such as “Family 500+”, “Good Start”, strengthening the “Toddler+” program and introducing new solutions – Family Care Capital, or co-financing a stay in a nursery. In 2022, we spent nearly PLN 86 billion on pro-family policy.
- Lower taxes - lowering personal income tax to 12 percent, increasing the tax-free amount to PLN 30,000. zloty
and raising the tax threshold to 120,000. zloty. - Support for seniors - among others through the 13th and 14th pension, the "Mom 4+" program or a tax-free pension. We have also decided on a record indexation for next year.
- Support for the Polish countryside and Polish farmers - among others through higher subsidies for farmers, subsidies for fertilizers and agricultural fuel, liberalization of agricultural retail trade, the Act on the TSO, subsidies for KGW, or the decision to increase agricultural pensions by linking the basic pension from KRUS with the lowest pension from ZUS.
- Health - 2022 includes e.g. consistent increase in expenditure on health care, increase in salaries, introduction of comprehensive care for patients with SMA, or the
about the State Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. - Government financing for small, medium and large investments and supporting local governments and infrastructure development - among others by the Government Program of Strategic Investments - these are investments close to people - thousands of small projects in all communes in Poland, new roads, expansion of sewage systems.
- Job protection - government shields saved many companies from bankruptcy and allowed them to maintain a stable situation on the labor market in 2022 – Poland has almost the lowest unemployment in the European Union, at the level of 3%.
- Preparation of an ambitious budget for 2023 - we combine budgetary responsibility with the implementation of ambitious social programs that strengthen, among others, Polish families, seniors, employees and entrepreneurs. We plan that the state budget revenues in 2023 will amount to PLN 604.5 billion. In 2015, it was PLN 289.1 billion. This is an increase of nearly 110%.
