Carpathian Europe has gained a new dimension. Digitalization of the region brings an opportunity for deeper integration of Central and Eastern European countries, involving local communities in the projects, games and applications we propose. Together with GovTech, we have reached for solutions that have a chance to interest creative people ready to work together to strengthen the brand that is Carpathian Europe. Innovation has become a reality!
Today, an exceptional thing is happening: a competition for a digital comic book about legends of the Podkarpacie region is starting. High school students from the Podkarpacie region, as well as from all over Poland, will be able to submit their works, which will be judged by a jury to honor the best ones.
Digitalization has reached almost every area of life. And that's lucky! Without it, it would be hard to imagine the last months, when we were fighting a pandemic and when students were forced to learn online. We want to move with the times and respond to the challenges that the modern world throws at us. We've had quite a few painting and comic contests with us, it's time to get into the digital level. In order to give a chance to all those who are willing to take part in the contest, we announce open recruitment for free virtual training in computer graphics. Regardless of whether the result of such training is the submission of work, i.e. a digital comic book or not, what is important is that we enable students to acquire digital competencies - those without which it is difficult to imagine today's world and those that are and will be required by your future employers.
The digital comic contest is just one of several initiatives that are part of Digital Carpathian Europe. I encourage you to follow the website https://www.gov.pl/web/cyfrowaeuropakarpat
