Current flood situation in Subcarpathia

Due to heavy rainfall over the past few days, flood hazards are being monitored on an ongoing basis and the fire department, police and military continue to work intensively. The culmination wave on the Podkarpackie section of the Vistula River on the border with the Małopolska province is proceeding calmly - with a downward trend. At the moment the culmination has passed the Baranów Sandomierski commune and is still being monitored. The works on sealing and relieving the embankments, where such needs have been identified, are being continued all the time. The situation on other rivers in the Podkarpackie voivodeship is stable.
