In the Przemyśl voivodeship, the first OKOR structures were created in the second half of 1983 and had close ties with the Farmers' Chaplaincy in Krasiczyn and the RKOR (December 1982). They were formed by Jozef Olszanski, whose activities covered areas on the east bank of the San, Tadeusz Sopel, who coordinated work on the west bank of the San and Marek Kuchciński, maintaining contacts with agricultural opposition activists in other regions of Poland, workers' circles and the so-called independent culture. The activities of the OKOR in Przemyśl concentrated primarily on printing and distributing leaflets and underground writings, including outside the country, to the USSR, pilgrimages to Czestochowa were organized, material aid and food for the families of persecuted farmers. Before elections to the Sejm or National Councils, painting slogans on walls and bus stops (1984) was added to the standard sabotage and information activities.
Rev. Stanislaw Bartminski: The Farmers' Chaplaincy in Krasiczyn was born spontaneously. We organized a retreat for farmers on the anniversary of martial law from ten dioceses across Poland. With today's marshal - Marek Kuchcinski - We went around ten dioceses, invited by name, to the hands, 40, and sent 20 by mail. Unfortunately, the invitations fell into the hands of the UB and then these farmers were harassed.
It was difficult to imagine the movement without the support of Archbishop Ignatius Tokarczuk.
