The Sejm received a bill amending the act on animal protection concerning supplementing the scope of municipalities' own tasks with preventing animal homelessness; it is proposed that the list of elements of the programme of care for homeless animals and preventing homelessness should be open and that the programme could include a plan for sterilization or spaying of animals in the municipality
