Dear Mr. President,
I would like to thank you for the invitation to the European Agricultural Forum and I must admit that I was very pleased to hear about its next edition. In Jasionka, during the conference debates, the past and the future, the agricultural tradition and innovation are combined in a specific way. Allow me, therefore, to express my appreciation to the initiators and organizers of this annual meeting. It is a forum for exchanging thoughts on the most current issues, an opportunity to present modern technological solutions in the agricultural sector, as well as an opportunity to discuss problems together and find good solutions. Solutions that will be innovative and at the same time will preserve the natural heritage.
I would also like to congratulate the winners of the "Innovative Farmer" competition. The winners are an example that creativity combined with courage brings excellent results. I wish the winners the best of luck in their further endeavors and, above all, satisfaction with their undertakings. My words of appreciation go to the person receiving the Józef Ślisz Award. This honourable Award is a beautiful distinction and at the same time a commitment to even more intensive work for the benefit of other people and dissemination of ideas close to Józef Ślisz. I sincerely hope that the award will be a source of pride for the winners and will give them strength to carry out further projects.
