            Dear Director,

 

I received with great interest the information about the exhibition "Hungarikum. Folk Art of Matyó". I would like to thank you for the invitation to the vernissage, unfortunately I will not be able to participate in it. Through the Director, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the initiators and organizers of this unique exhibition devoted to the folk art of Hungary. 

For centuries, Poland and Hungary have been united by true friendship. We were bound by close dynastic ties and great alliances. Both countries lived through their "golden era", and cultural currents permeated each other. The exhibition presented at the Kielce Village Museum is an excellent opportunity for Polish visitors to get acquainted with Hungarian folk art, which draws inspiration from the richness and colors of nature. The beautiful and unique art of Matyó continues to amaze with its extraordinary craftsmanship and colors.

I wish all visitors many wonderful and unforgettable experiences, as well as many reflections.
