Skiing, a lot of good energy and the desire to meet nature in the company of interesting people is a perfect recipe for recharging batteries before another challenging week at work. In the mountains time passes differently, and snow covers them with an additional coat of mystery. An expedition through the Chochołowska Valley, to Grześ, then to Rakoń and from Rakoń downhill is more than 20 kilometers, 1000 meters of elevation gain: quite a challenge for the body. But in such a place physical effort is a real pleasure and only the passing day dictated the length of the route. The Polish Tatra Mountains are a treasure.
Special thanks are due to Piotr Baek, guide, Tatra district governor and Maciej Krokowski, guide, former mayor of Zakopane
