More than 8 billion PLN was spent on public investments with the participation of the state budget in Podkarpackie voivodeship. As far as infrastructure is concerned, the S19 expressway, i.e. a part of Via Carpathia, which is to connect Klaipeda in Lithuania with Thessaloniki in Greece, and whose Podkarpackie section will be about 170 km long, will be crucial for the development of Eastern Poland. A lot of funds were also allocated to the construction of national roads, e.g. Przemyśl - Medyka, ring roads, investment works such as at the border crossing Medyka - Mościska II, border crossing in Malhowice, improvement of safety, modernization of railroad lines and elimination of operational threats on the railroad network or construction of Suburban Agglomeration Railway.

A large part of the funds were allocated for state aid in the area of nutrition, parental benefits, the "Clean Air" program, flood protection, health care, education, culture.
