National Independence Day celebrations organized by the Law and Justice party took place in Cracow on Monday, November 11th.

Deputy Marshal Marek Kuchciński participated in the Independence Day celebrations in Krakow. The celebrations began with the Holy Mass. celebrated in the Wawel Cathedral. In the homily of Fr. prof. Jacek Urban pointed out that November 11 is a day that makes us reflect on the past, but also on the present and the future. “The heart of each of us is to be the place of remembrance and responsibility,” he stressed.

After the Mass Jaroslaw Kaczynski and his delegation including Vice-Marshall of the Sejm Marek Kuchcinski laid flowers on the sarcophagi of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and Presidential Couple Lech and Maria Kaczynski. Next, the participants of the ceremony marched in front of the Katyn Cross located at the foot of Wawel Hill, where flowers and wreaths were laid.
