On August 22 this year, ceremonies dedicated to the Battle of Zadwórz (Polish Thermopylae) will be held in Zadwórz (Ukraine). In 1920, a unit of more than 300 members of the Lviv Eaglets under the command of Captain Boleslaw Zajączkowski repelled attacks by Semyon Budyonny's First Horse Army.
