On 20-21 April 2013, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński took part in meetings with residents of Pomeranian and West Pomeranian Voivodeships as part of a series of meetings called "Talks with Poles about Poland", which aim is to reach as many people as possible with direct information about the solutions proposed by the Law and Justice party during the crisis in the most important areas for Poland, such as: labor, taxes, pensions, health.
The meetings, organized in various regions of Poland, are attended by Jaroslaw Kaczynski - President of Law and Justice party and leading politicians of Law and Justice party: Beata Szydło, Joachim Brudzinski, Mariusz Blaszczak, Mariusz Kaminski and Marek Kuchcinski.
During the meetings of the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm with the residents and local authorities of Malbork, Nowy Dwór Gdanski, Wejherowo, Slupsk, Slawno, Bialogard and Polczyn Zdroj the issues that the residents are facing on a daily basis were discussed:
- educational subsidy - the one currently allocated to municipalities is not sufficient (30% for education is contributed by the municipality),
- Raising the retirement age,
- tax law changes,
- Financial liability of officials for erroneously issued decisions,
- liquidation of the Gdańsk shipyard as a blow to families (loss of jobs),
- no Malbork bypass.
Many people who attended the meetings expressed the belief that the Law and Justice party's victory depends on such discussion meetings - not only at the level of municipalities and counties.
