Sports Poland in the Subcarpathian region

The government allocated money for the Sportowa Polska na Podkarpacie programme 162 873 659. As a result, facilities were renovated and built, i.e. gymnasiums, football pitches, multifunctional sports halls, gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts. All investment tasks (created sports facilities) must be publicly available. Additionally, in the case of outdoor facilities, applicants should make every effort to ensure that access to them, in particular for children and young people, is free of charge.

The aim of the "Sportowa Polska" program is to develop and support the implementation of investment tasks related to sports facilities throughout the country. Co-financing may cover generally accessible facilities that enable mass practicing of sports. Types of investment tasks were divided into three groups.

the first group are tasks aimed at improving the condition of school sports infrastructure, intended for the needs of physical education classes, at the same time serving local communities for active leisure time, as well as - as far as possible - enabling sports competition. In the light of the available data, a large part of the population of school children and youth still does not have access to a safe and functional school sports infrastructure. Bearing in mind the fact that school facilities perform functions not only related to improving the conditions for conducting physical education classes, but also should constitute a network of basic sports facilities, generally available to everyone, facilities of this type deserve special attention in this Programme.

Second group Tasks are tasks aimed at improving training conditions for athletes, including counteracting the processes of loss of use value of sports facilities which are in an insufficient technical and functional condition, primarily used for practicing Olympic sports, as well as facilities enabling the wide dissemination of sport. In this group, financial support will be available for tasks related to the reconstruction or renovation of the already existing sports infrastructure. The facilities co-financed in this group of tasks are dedicated in particular to sports clubs that can boast measurable sports successes, as well as to those for whom the implementation of the investment task will be a strong stimulus for the development of current activity.

third group tasks are those related to the construction of a new (non-school) sports infrastructure, giving the opportunity to spend leisure time actively, constituting an important element of preventive health care and enabling sports competition. The Ministry of Sport encourages the newly created infrastructural base to obtain social approval beforehand and to correlate with sports practiced in the investment's area of influence.
