- I congratulate the creators and originators of the National Tax Administration on its results. It made sense to merge many services. We can see it in practice and in numbers. I will draw your attention to two. Firstly, there are fewer controls, their number has decreased by 30%. Secondly, we have definitely greater effectiveness of state services. For 42 billion zlotys, which came into the state budget during the year, a freeway from Przemyśl to Szczecin could be built. This sum is ten times greater than the joint budget of the provincial governor and the marshal of the Podkarpackie Province. Marshal of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński. He stressed that one of the most important functions and duties of the state is to ensure the security of its citizens. Fiscal security is also one of them. Ensuring state revenue so that the state authorities can finance their activities, programs in various other areas. The visible results of KAS work show what wastefulness and thievery there was in this respect.
Head of the National Fiscal Administration Marian Banaś He noted that the reform would not be possible without the absolute commitment of the officers. According to Banasio, it was possible to inject 42.5 billion zlotys into the state budget in one year alone. The tax gap, which was 26%, was reduced to 14%, which is below the European average.
The letter to the officers was addressed by President Andrzej Duda and read by the presidential minister Andrzej Dera: - The activities of the National Fiscal Administration make the state have a real, material basis for functioning, it is efficient, strong, safe and respected. I am convinced that the dedication and professionalism, impeccable attitude, openness and friendliness of the KAS employees and officers will constantly contribute to consolidation of such an image of the financial services of the Republic of Poland - wrote the President.
After the speeches the new banner was handed over to the Chamber of Fiscal Administration. The symbolic nails were driven in by Marshal Marek Kuchciński, Archbishop Andrzej Dzięga, Head of KAS Marian Banaś, Voivode Ewa Leniart, Marshal Władysław Ortyl, Director of Krajowa Szkoła Skarbowości Arkadiusz Batóg and Director of Tax Administration Chamber in Rzeszów, Police Commander Grzegorz Skowronek. The banner was consecrated by KAS chaplain, Archbishop Andrzej Dzięga. The ceremony ended with the awarding of state decorations.
The National Fiscal Administration was created a year and a half ago thanks to the efforts of Law and Justice. It was the result of merging the Customs Service, fiscal control and tax administration. The merger of these 3 institutions into KAS resulted in much greater efficiency of the services.
