Local governments are forced to liquidate more and more institutions. Deputy Marshal Kuchciński receives numerous interventions in this matter. Consequently, he asked the Minister of National Education whether rural municipalities will receive enough money to cover the actual needs of schools and the expenses arising from the Teacher's Charter.
Insufficient funding for education is another step towards the total collapse of Polish education. Currently, we have: the liquidation of rural schools, abandonment of the study of contemporary Polish history, deletion from the reading list of the best works such as Memory and Identity The results of this year's baccalaureate exam, which every fourth student failed (and there are schools where no one passed).
Law and Justice, on the other hand, believes that the education system is supposed to achieve three goals:
► create good educational opportunities for all young citizens regardless of where they live and regardless of their parents' level of wealth and education
► give a solid education and preparation for life in modern society
►Foster the development of above-average talent.
