Przemysl sport could have lost its handball team. Thanks to the great determination of the players and the sponsor (Orlen Upstream), Przemysl-based Czuwaj, known for decades for its good handball team, returned to the group of the best. The last five victories in a row and the first place in the league proved that it is worth the investment.

Cities need sports to thrive. Sport at a basic level is all about the proper physical and ethical development of human beings. Every preventative health program includes movement and sports. However, this is only part of a larger puzzle in building a modern community. For modern sport has not only a purely physical dimension. It is also a complex business and economic mechanism which, if managed rationally, has a chance to be an impulse for development. Sport means jobs: those for coaches, people directly operating training or entertainment facilities.

That's not all, after all, sport is a spectacle which attracts people, both those from the nearest region and guests from other parts of the country and let's hope the current pandemic situation will last as short as possible, because Przemysl fans are impatiently waiting for the return to the stands. Czuwaj Przemyśl is not only a professional team, but also very talented youth groups.

"Handball" is already one of the most popular sports in the country. Following the example of soccer, clubs are being formed for children and young people who, seeing with their own eyes the success of local teams and the national team, dream of a career.
