President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda appointed Mateusz Morawiecki as the Prime Minister. As he stressed: the new Prime Minister has decided that he wants to work with these people and convince himself. - We will try to make the government of the United Right wing a government of united Poland, a government of all citizens," said the Prime Minister.
The president also made appointments to the Council of Ministers:

- Antoni MACIEREWICZ - for the post of the Minister of National Defence
- Mr Witold WASZCZYKOWSKI - for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Krzysztof TCHÓRZEWSKI - for the post of the Minister of Energy
- Zbigniew ZIOBRA - for the office of the Minister of Justice
- Anna ZALEWSKA - for the post of the Minister of National Education
