December 23rd is the 10th anniversary of the swearing-in of Polish President Lech Kaczynski. On this occasion, on December 21, the Sejm passed a resolution in which the deputies paid tribute to the memory of the tragically deceased President.

On December 22, a ceremony was held in the Sejm with the participation of MPs, senators, the President and the Prime Minister, during which the resolution was presented.

Deputies and senators gathered at the solemn assembly, paying tribute to the memory of President Lech Kaczyñski, express their conviction that the President, acting in the Free Trade Unions, the Solidarity Trade Union, holding high state, social and local government offices, effectively striving as the President of the Republic of Poland to build the subjective position of Poland and our region in the international politics, doing justice to people fighting for the freedom of our homeland, actively participating in solving numerous social conflicts, recalling the ideas of the Solidarity Trade Union, to which he was always faithful, served Poland well - states the resolution.
