At the request of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the President of Poland appointed new members of the Council of Ministers. Eight ministries changed heads, with five ministers bidding farewell to the Cabinet: the head of the Defense Ministry Antoni Macierewicz, Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, the head of the Environment Ministry Jan Szyszko, Health Minister Konstanty Radziwiłł and the Minister of Digitization Anna Strezynska.
