The Man of the Year Award of the Economic Forum in Krynica went to Prime Minister Beata Szydło.
- This is an award for courage," said Sejm Speaker Marek Kuchcinski. - Waclaw Havel, Victor Orban or Jaroslaw Kaczynski knew that their countries needed change and knew how to implement it. This is a reward for courage and consistency, because the main framework of the program that the government is now implementing was created at the beginning of 2014, polished in 2015 and implemented consistently until today...," Kuchcinski argued.
- I am merely the captain of the team to change Poland. Because, in fact, this is the award of everyone: my colleagues who sit here in the hall, who work very hard every day in the government, who introduce these projects, programs," Prime Minister Beata Szydło said, receiving the award.
