On Saturday, November 3, just before 10 a.m. the coffin with the body of President Ryszard Kaczorowski was brought to the Divine Providence Church in Warsaw. A prayer vigil was held by the President. There were no representatives of the highest authorities of the Republic of Poland. At 14 o'clock a Mass was celebrated by Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz. The reburial took place after 3 p.m. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Marshals of the Sejm: Marek Kuchciński and Cezary Grabarczyk, as well as the head of the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club Mariusz Błaszczak, MP Jan Dziedziczak and other parliamentarians. Scouts from the ZHR and the ZHP (Polish Scouting and Guiding Association), as well as the Bractwo Kurkowe (Chivalry of Chivalry) were numerously represented.
The ceremony was assisted by the Representative Company of the Polish Army. Ryszard Kaczorowski served as President of Poland in Exile until December 22, 1990. On this day he presented the insignia to Lech Walesa, the newly sworn-in President of Poland.
The last will of the late Ryszard Kaczorowski was to be laid to rest in the Divine Providence Temple in Wilanow.
