I think that the congress can contribute to the fact that the world public opinion, Western Europe, more strongly influenced the authorities of countries such as: France, Germany or Italy, so that they do not support Putin so much, do not support his army, which is committing crimes in Ukraine. This is a paradox," head of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Marek Kuchciński told PAP.
The 12th Congress "Poland the Great Project" was held in Warsaw with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, among others. The three-day congress included 11 discussion panels and the presentation of the President of Poland Lech Kaczyński Award. The dominant themes were the war in Ukraine and all its consequences, as well as the various reactions of the free world to this conflict.
Marek Kuchciński recalled that the Prime Minister presented clearly, explicitly, with reference to historical roots, how rational the situation is and what we should do to ensure not only peace and security in Poland, but also in the whole of Europe and the world - that is, to stop Putin and help Ukraine win this war.
Mateusz Morawiecki also argued that during the First Republic we had a chance to create a superpower. A kingdom that would be strong, able to resist the great powers of the south, west and east A great mistake, however, was the inability of the then elite of the Polish state to understand the national nature of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and in fact at least three nations, which we then co-created. The misunderstanding was very deep.
