Economic relations between Poland and South Korea are developing well, so it is time for parliamentary diplomacy to enter into relations between our countries.
During the meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Mr. Chung Sye-Kyun, the Speaker of the Sejm promised his support to the Polish-Korean bilateral group to strengthen cooperation in the fields of science, culture, art, tourism and, above all, security. The interlocutors emphasized the difficult situation on the Korean Peninsula and the fact that security in this region is a guarantee of security in the world. As a member of the UN Security Council, Poland can play a significant and constructive role in this field.
President Chung Sye-Kyun invited the Poles to the 2018 Winter Olympics, expressing hope that the Polish national team will return with many gold medals.
