Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchcinski discussed strategic interests, cross-border cooperation, infrastructure development and the future of the European Union with representatives of the Slovak-Polish Parliamentary Group.
Martin Fedor, the Head of Delegation of the Slovak Republic thanked for respectful approach of the Polish side towards cooperation between our countries. He also reminded that our common goal should be, above all, to identify the problems that concern us together and to name the areas that can be further developed in bilateral cooperation. Our task is to put emphasis on these topics that should be further addressed. Mr. Fedor then declared his friendship towards Poland and his willingness to raise the Polish-Slovak cooperation to the level of strategic cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Ryszard Terlecki, Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee Bogdan Rzonca and Jerzy Polaczek, Chairman of the Polish-Slovak Parliamentary Group.
