The Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński met with the President of Iraq Mohammed Fuad Masum Khader. The main topics of the talks were counter-terrorism, strengthening security, cooperation of parliamentary groups, development, among others economic relations.

The interlocutors had no doubt that stopping the terrorist outbreak in Iraq would translate into security in the rest of the world. - The EU should jointly monitor terrorist movements and counteract them - said President Khader. He also thanked Poland for its military and humanitarian support to Iraq.
