- During the Caritas "Schoolbag Full of Smiles" campaign we help children from needy families; we invest in their education, development and future. I encourage everyone who can support the poorest to help. We want to put a smile on children's faces as often as possible", said Marek Kuchciński, who was awarded a golden medal for services to Caritas.

This year the campaign is in its 12th year and is especially relevant because of COVID-19. Support has been expanded to include internet access and laptops and tablets for remote learning.

The action "Tornister Full of Smiles" was also joined by President Andrzej Duda, the Ombudsman for Children and the Minister of Education, and blessed by Pope Francis.
